Meet the Artist
Hi, I’m Caroline Fisher
I’m a full-time artist who draws deeply from the natural world, particularly trees, plants, animals, and birds. My current work layers atmospheric painting with hand-cut linoleum prints to form richly textured landscapes, where mark-making and meaning converge. Many of my pieces are inspired by my beautiful garden and countless trips around Britain. I enjoy working both within the landscape and in my studio, where I spend time drawing, sketching, painting, and printing.

At its heart Sheffield is a city of makers and industrial heritage. Famed for its cutlery works and steel manufacture some of these former manufacturing buildings now provide many of our artists with amazing studio spaces in iconic industrial buildings such as Butcher, Gordon, Stag, and Portland Works.Also featured will be Simone Abram’s Ceramics that use a range of techniques such as Woodfired and Kiln Fired works. Our individual works are strongly connected to nature and the outdoors.
